Why should you volunteer at this year's
FNBRF Treat Yourself To Wellness 6th Annual 5K....

 
1.     It’s good for you – Reward yourself physically and mentally.  You can reduce your stress and become healthier as you are focused on someone else other than yourself for a while.

2.     It brings people together – Volunteering unites people from diverse backgrounds to work toward a common goal and build teamwork.

3.     Be social in the River Falls community – You get to mingle with community members and local business owners all while having a great time.

4.     It promotes personal growth and self-esteem – Understanding community needs helps foster empathy and self-efficacy.

5.     You are an integral part in helping protect the safety of our participants and providing them with encouragement – A 5K’s success depends on keeping the participants safe and happy throughout the event.

6.     You get a chance to give back – Help support the community you live in, work in and benefit from. 

7.     It doesn’t take all that long – In about an hour, you can volunteer, eat a yummy breakfast and make a difference.  Every volunteer counts!

8.     Cross it off your bucket list – It will be one less thing for you to have on the long list of items to do in your lifetime.

9.     Help support a good cause – All proceeds go to Have A Heart, Inc.; a non-profit organization providing support for families with physically and/or developmentally disabled loved ones.
